Wow these holidays came quickly.  It seems like only a few days ago we were starting school.  My favourite part of the holidays is getting to stay the night at my grandparents house.  I like going there because I always do heaps of fun stuff and every time I get a new toy.  This time I got Lego Agents Mission 4 Speedboat Rescue!  We always play with my new toy, go on the computer, play badmington and we always get Pizza from Pizza Hut for dinner. My Grandpa has an electric train set.  My favourite train is the Flying Scotsman.  By the way, I always win at badminton!!  The last thing we always do is go to the dairy.  I always get a HUGE! crunchy.  The  worst things though, are that my  grandpa snores -  {I can hear him from the next room!} and the 45 minute drive to Lower Hutt.

Ghost was sitting on the computer chair.  I was watcing a DVD.  Ghost farted.  I said, Ghost did you fart? Ghost miaowed.  I put Ghost outside.       

This term we welcome Siabhaon to our class.  Her name is of Gaelic origin and she was named by her Grandad, he chose the spelling too I think.  Her Mum told me there are a number of ways to spell the name. Our Siabhaon has a soft s sound at the beginning. 

Hi my name is Angus I am nine years old my birthday is on september the sixth.  I have five people in my family.  We have sixteen pets all together, a cat it’s name is Smudge, a bird it’s name is Uncle Feather and Smudge  had four kittens, the kittens names were Chocolate chip , Patch , Chester and Nudge.  My avatar is a rugby ball because my favourite sport is rugby, it’s really fun, I’m playing rugby this year because I think it is so fun. My brother Harry is playing soccer because he likes soccer so much that he is playing soccer this year. I play touch in the summer and so does my brother, he plays it as well. 

Hi my name is Mary.  My avatar is a girl that has a small bag.  I drew my avatar because I wanted to draw a girl.  My teacher asked me to draw a avatar,  so I drew a girl.  I have  brown eyes and  black curly hair.  I like going to beach with my family and friends.  I like netball, netball is my best sports and the best winter sport.  My favourite colour is yellow.  I love writing,  made up stories with the help of my parents and my friends.  My best author is Jacqueline Wilson.  Do you read Jacqueline Wilson’s books?.  I am tall like my father and mother.  My family and I like singing, dancing, playing instruments and painting.  My birthday is on December 14 1999.  I am 9 years old turning 10 years old.

There was a fairy called Cabbage fairy she takes care of cabbages.  One day she needed to buy food for lunch.  ”No one will take care of my cabbages” cried Cabbage fairy.  ”Wait I know someone who will take care of my cabbages” said Cabbage fairy.  She went straight to Potato fairy’s house.  “Hi Potato fairy can you take care of my cabbages?”  . “Sure it’s my pleasure”.  So Cabbage fairy went to the market place.  Potato fairy went to cabbage fairy’s house and waited for Cabbage fairy. “I’m bored” Potato fairy said, “I’ll destroy the cabbages hehehe!”.  When Cabbage fairy returned she’s surprised that her cabbages had holes in it.  “What have you done!” Cabbage fairy said. “Nothing” Potato fairy said.  The next day the queen needed someone to be a Rose and Daisy fairy.  Cabbage fairy wanted to be a Rose fairy so did Potato fairy.  The next day the queen went to Cabbage fairy and Potato fairy’s house and ask what would you like to be,” A Rose fairy said   Potato fairy and Cabbage fairy.  The queen said “You will get what you deserve”.  Cabbage fairy become a Daisy fairy because she was a nice fairy and Potato fairy become a Rose fairy beacause she was a nasty fairy.  Violet fairy a friend of  Cabbage fairy came and said “You’re lucky daisies are easier to take care of than roses”.

Hi I’m Britney.  I’m 9 years old.  My favourite colour is blue.   I love puppies, kittens, fish and birds.  My favourite food is McDonalds.  I love colouring in pictures.  My favourite movie is Dinosaurs and Monsters vs Aliens.  I have  2 little brothers named Ethan who is 5 years old , Deakin who’s 1 week old.  And I have 3 sisters who are Charlise 6 years old, Dylin 3 years old and Laina who’s 3 years old.  I have 2 mums and 2 dads.  I have 2 cats.  My best friends are Sonia,  Breellen , Stevie, Ashlin, Kalb and Mackala.  I play netball and it is really fun.  I live with my Grandma ,Grandad,Uncle Callum, Mum, Dad, Deakin and Charlise.  I have a big pool and a big back yard .                 

For  Term 2 I thought we would have a W.O. W a Worker of the Week.  A little like Mr Baker’s P.O.W. in Fab4.  Firstly let’s think of the privileges that this person might have for the week that they hold the title!  Leave your ideas in the comments section.  On Friday afternoon I will be naming our first W.O.W on the blog. 

This video has some the things we did but not all. My computer was changed during the term and so while all the photos taken are on the server, not all of the photos are on my computer!  I will be more organised for Term Two end of term video. It’s one of my goals!
