Every year we take a school day and we raise money to send to the Missions and places of need. For example just last month we sent $500 to Samoa via the Red Cross to help with the tsunami damage. We also have a world vision child that we sponsor. So I will be uploading some videos of our fundraising efforts. While we help others, it is a day that our school celebrates, as parents, teachers, and children cooperate and work together, It is always loads of fun, and pupils from the school long after they have left us, remember it as a day they really valued and enjoyed.
Yesterday it was my birthday I went to Wellington. At Lower Hutt I went to sky city cinema. When we got there we got a family pass to see the movie Shorts after we got them we went to the foodcourt, I got 10 chicken mc nugget with large chips. After that we went to see the movie .

If you are in to play station games you might like to visit Joe’s blog, again from the Bright Spots blog. Maybe there is nobody in our class that likes playstation. I don’t think I would! However if you do like such games, drop in on him, read his posts and leave him a comment.
This video should play now, however have noticed that it is slow I let it misbehave through one time and then it seems to play better the second time through.
“To get you visiting other blogs, do the following activity – Count out three. On the September participants page, click on the blog of either a student or a class. This is count out one. Now go to the blogroll of that student or class and click on a link to another person. This is count out two. Finally when on that blog, click on the link of someone in that blogroll. This is count out three. Now leave a comment on that person’s blog. Hopefully this is not a blogger you have already commented on. Try this activity at least three times.” Ms Wyatt.
My comment on this to students in the classroom is, try the count out, if you find you can only do a two count out thats okay. The main point is to make comments on blogs you haven’t been to yet, and also to keep up the standard of commenting. Remember our comment pointers, see can you keep the conversation going. Don’t forget to check when people leave you a comment and reply to them if it is needed.
I came across this video clip, this is not an ordinary hippo. What do you think of Jessica?
Over the school holidays I had my friend Dayna come for a triple sleepover. We had lots of fun. On Tuesday my Nana took us to see UP, which was really funny. We also went to Peka Peka Beach to pick up some driftwood and shells.
On Friday, Sonia came for a sleepover. We had a lot of fun playing SingStar and Racing Car on my Play station 2.
On Saturday I went to Siabhaons for a sleepover. This was really fun, we were still awake at midnight.
On Monday I went to stay at my Nanas with my cousins Sammy and Benny for two nights. They live in Wellington so I do not get to see them that much. We had lots of fun playing on our scooters and visiting the horses. We named them Peril and Midnight.
On Wednesday we went down to the Hutt to stay with my other cousins. We went swimming at Naenae Pool. I went down the big Hydro Slide heaps of times chasing Sammy. My cousins Ben and Darragh chased me down the Hydro Slide. I also went on an obstacle course setup on the water. I did not get that far as I lost my grip of the rope. We went Indoor Rock Climbing on Thursday.
Later we came home with my cousins Jacob and Darragh for a double sleepover. I played on Jacobs Nintendo DS heaps. We also played Buzz.
The best things out of my whole school holidays where going Indoor Rock Wall Climbing and catching up with my friend Dayna and my cousins.

You know how some people go camping for a holiday while others go overseas and some people relax at a beach batch. Well my family went fishing at Te Horo with my Uncle and Aunt. The water was very calm and restful but we weren ‘t. We wanted fish for dinner. This was a pretty bad day. Uncle Daniel had thrown his line out, but he hadn ‘t flipped the metal arm over the spool so the line snapped and the sinker went soaring over us into the sea, like a marble from a sling shot. Dad had nothing on his line and neither did I. So I put my rod on hold, turned to see what dad was doing , turned back and my rod was gone !!! I saw the trail of the rod leading towards the water. Instead of catching the fish the fish caught my rod.
