Getting Stella

In the holidays, Simone, Anneke, Mum and I drove for an long hour to Wellington to pick up our new kitten, Stella. On the way we went to the spotty museum and stopped for lunch at a cafe, it was really yum, but I got incredibly full very quickly!
We picked the kitten up from Shonas, one of mum’s friends from her work. When we finally got to Shonas (Simone and I had been waiting for hours!) We fell in love with Stella at the first sight! She was a tortoisehell: ginger, black, brown and white. She’s tiny, her body was about as big as one and one half of my hands, she was very, very cute. Shona gave Stella to me to hold, holding her was like cuddling fluffy silk.
We got to play with her and her brother for a while, but when her brother caught a fly, he wasn’t interested in playing, he just ripped the fly’s wings off, and while it was walking slowly away, he kept pouncing (very quickly) onto it and biting it.
When we took Stella home, she kept crying but in the end she stopped, and I’m wondering if she even remembers her mum and brother.
