Washington DC
Hi Mb4 it is Kim here. My house is great over here in Washington. I wish you were here to see it. At my new school we get lots of homework, we get 45 minutes to one hour of homework each night. It is also different with the school books here. I have 5 text books, 7 work books, and 4 note pads to put notes in for some subjects. And one exercise book and one whiteboard (little one).

Kim, not sure if you had finished the post but published it anyway! Did you paste it in from Word? I tidied it up a bit. Photo is gorgeous. Are you cooking outside?

We had a big snow storm here and the power went out for about 16 hour so we had to cook on the BBQ. We had no school for a week. It was so funny my dad dear casey to run up our hill in the snow in bert feet(she got half way then fell over.) I had just spend ages doing the drive way today because you have to shovel the drive way. Dad has just lift to Auzzy for a week. Simone I have a couple of friends here lots of the Grade 8(which is years 9 back home) like my accent.I miss you all.

Sounds like its been very cold, Kim. What grade are you in at school. I was sorting out the netball teams yesterday and thought of you when I got the names from MB4…there will be no Kim!!
Do you have to wear a uniform to school. I hope you kept warm without power. 16 hours is a long time
Love Mrs B
