This was my first time going up the mountain too. I also surprised on how easy skiing was, I have to admit I was pretty good. The stink thing is when you’ve mastered it you have to wait for everyone else to get the hang of it to. We had a few misshapes on the mountain, Petra had a little fall on the mountain and then came crashing into me, I have the bruise to prove it, but with all the misshapes out of the way, I had a pleasant time on the mountain. I would love to go back and ski again. Luckily I’m going to a place where it snows most of the time :)

As this was my first time even going up the mountain, I was very worried. I was quite surprised at how easy skiing is and think I mastered it well. The only annoying part was waiting for the rest of my group to get it.

One thing that I released is that Turangi Hot pools are Tokaanu Hot Pools. Just a minor mistake.

My favourite part of Ski Camp was the Skiing, the snowball fights and Waiouru Army Museum/ War Memorial Museum.

Thanks for the comment. I agree the snowball fights and the sleds were awesome, especially when we went soaring over the jumps.

My favourite part was the snowboarding. As it was my first time, I was really nervous about how things would go. I am now confident having learnt a lot and hopefully will go again.

Were you worried at all about how you would do?
