2013
Welcome to the 2013 new school year. We have one week to go, I will be meeting up with you all again on Tuesday the 29th of January. Are you beginning to think about school, I know I am! Make the most of the next week, it looks like some fine weather and perhaps some time at the beach.

Hey Miss T
Can you do a post saying what subjects we need to put on our books like you did last year? It’s just I am doing some (extremely awesome, may I add) book covering and to be honest, it would be easier if I knew what the subjects are.
See you on the 29th

The books sound wonderful. I will make that post tomorrow, (Thursday) I just need to double think it, I wrote it down for myself somewhere, otherwise I’ll make it up!
Already using my unique Diary for 2013, it is gorgeous, extremely awesome actually!
29th is coming fast!
Enjoy the heat at the beach!

Hello Miss T,
I am enjoying reading your blog very much. I am a grade 5/6 teacher from Melbourne, Australia. We have just started our own class blog and we are looking forward to getting it up and running and collaborating with classes from all over the world.
Hope you have enjoyed your time off. I certainly have!

Would love a link to your blog, and would love to connect class to class at some time. I certainly have enjoyed the summer break, now I am endeavouring to get up and running for the new term and year.
Look forward to keeping in contact

Hi Miss T,
Thanks for your reply. When I say we have just started our class blog, we literally created it today at a Professional Development Day with Kelly Jordan and Kathleen Morris. We are looking forward to introducing it to our students (all 50 of them!) and using it in the classroom.
The link is: http://froleisland.global2.vic.edu.au
The blog is called ‘Frole Island’ as it is a combination of both mine and my teaching partner’s surnames. Would love to connect class to class sometime!
Enjoy the remainder of your break – I’m getting excited to get back into the classroom too!
