Miss T's Classroom.

From time to time when I can get the time I like to try making my own cards. I learn from all the wonderful creative people on the internet. One such person is Vicky. She is actually a teacher in Greece. Watch her video. I am going to try this one, and I think some of you students in my class might like to give it a go in the next few days during independent learning time. I will gather some suitable materials to help out!

Here is a video done by Harry on making a paper bird. It shows you everything you need to know on origami bird making. There is a reward for the first person in the class to use the video to make your own. But you can’t either know how to make it already or be related to the people who had anything to do with it. Origami Video  My hobby is origami.  Origami means folding paper.  I can make a bird, a waterbomb, a cat, a seal sitting on a rock, a sword fish and more.  I’ve got three origami books full of animals and objects.  Here are some photos of things I’ve made and a video of me making a water bomb.

On the weekend I celebrated a birthday that is a tidy number. I am now part of the very wise people! My niece who is a local artist gave me a gorgeous painting that is going to be perfect in my new sunroom. I love it.

This year I learnt that you can make a colour brighter by adding more of the brighter colour e.g  red and blue makes purple but if you want light purple, you have to add more red.  I really loved doing the clowns because it gave me a chance to mix colours and put them together and I LOVE tht result.
