Sonia’s speech  We finished our class speeches last week and today the top seven speakers shared them with the syndicate.  Sonia was first up, she shares her speech . Listen in.

I think that having one day of no t.v. each week is a good idea because you can always go outside, like  if you have a secret hide out that would be useful and fresh air.  There is also inside, like you could always make mini toy towns or if you are a boy you could make battle towns.  What do you think?

My favourite book  is named Ottoline and the Yellow Cat.  It is by Chris Riddle, he is a amazing author.  I liked it because whoever did the drawing it was just amazing.  I had never read a book like it.  I also think beatrice  my class mate would like it.  I was the first one out of my class to read it.

My favourite subject in school is writing. I am writing a story about a little girl whose Mum buys a new type of food named green aliens. I learnt how to do grabbers which are interesting ways to begin a story. Interesting beginnings can include: sympathy, dialogue and many others. So far this is what we have been learning about for term 1 in writing.

My name is Sonia.  I am 131cm.  My favourite hobby is sleepovers.  I am a chocoholic.  My favourite food is chocolate.  I love animals so much that I want a pet pelican and I  would name It Snapper.  My best friend is Breellen, we met when we were five.  So that is my life.
