Last week three of our teams entered this. They all did very well and we are grateful to Penny for her hard work with the teams. One senior team went on to the final and did very well.
Free Rice
Free rice is a website that I came across during the blogging challenge. Free rice lets you answer questions on a variety of Topics like flags of the world, multiplication, vocabulary and french. Every answer you get right they donate 10 grains of rice to help end hunger. So far I have donated 6110 grains of rice! Free Rice is a great way to learn new things and make a little difference in the world.

Going Sailing
Today some of Room 8 have gone out learning to sail. I just met a Dad down there who said, “We never did that in our day!” Sadly I have to say they never did it in mine either. It looks heaps of fun. Well done those who chose to go.

Recently I did the teacher blogging challenge. I found it a wonderful learning experience, and it has opened up new doors for me. So give it a try. Even those of you who are new to blogging can give it a go if you so choose.
